Pangong Lake
Pangonglake is a landlocked lake and the most visited place or the most popular tourist attraction in Ladakh. It is located at a height of 4350 meters and is 12 km long extending from India to Tibet. Throughout the seasons this lake changes color ranging from blue to light blue to green and grey which makes it a fascinating destination.

Khardung La Pass

Thiksey Monastery
Thiksey monastery is a Tibetian-style monastery located on the top of the hill 20km south of Leh. It is a twelve-story monastery that provides magnificent views of the town and the Indus valley below and closely resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa. Its best feature is the Maitreya Temple which has a 15 mt high statue of Buddha.
Hemis Monastery
Hemis Monastery is a beautiful Buddhist monastery built by the Lakdashi king SenggeNamgyal located 45 km south of Leh. It is one of the wealthiest monasteries in India and is most visited during the Hemis Festival which is held annually in June. It houses copper statues of Lord Buddha along with stupas made of gold and silver and provides a peaceful atmosphere to its visitors.
